What sets this safari apart is how immersive and personal it is. Rather than simply visiting Kruger, you experience the park from the inside, camping at a designated rest‑camp campsite within or on the boundary of Kruger National Park and ending each day with dinner around the campfire under the African night sky.
This is a small‑group, hands‑on camping safari, not a large bus tour. Guests take part in the bush routine—helping set up camp, sharing stories around the fire, and experiencing Kruger beyond daytime game drives.
Game drives are unhurried and well timed for peak wildlife activity, with early morning and late afternoon safaris led by an experienced guide focused on interpretation. Stops at picnic and rest sites allow time to absorb the park atmosphere.
Hosted by a small, family‑run bush team based in Marloth Park, right on the Kruger boundary, this safari offers a genuine, no‑frills Kruger experience focused on wildlife, nature, and connection rather than luxury.

Your safari begins with an early morning departure as we travel toward Kruger National Park. After entering the park, the adventure truly starts with a guided game drive through diverse landscapes of bushveld, rivers, and open plains. Keep your camera ready as we search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. Midday, we stop at a rest camp where you can stretch your legs and enjoy lunch (own expense). In the afternoon, we continue our game drive before heading to the campsite inside the park. As the sun sets, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner around the camp, followed by an evening of relaxation under the African night sky, listening to the sounds of the wild.
Wake up early to the sounds of nature and enjoy a light breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Your guide will share insights into animal behavior, tracking, and the unique ecosystems of Kruger. After returning to camp for brunch or lunch, there is time to rest before setting out again for an afternoon game drive. Each drive offers new scenery and new chances to encounter predators and plains game. In the evening, return to camp for another hearty dinner and a relaxed night at the campfire, sharing stories from the day’s sightings.
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive as the park comes alive with the sunrise. This is often one of the best times to spot big cats returning from their night hunts. After the drive, we return to camp for breakfast, pack up, and begin our journey out of Kruger National Park. You’ll leave with unforgettable memories of Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and wilderness.
