A true jewel of Quebec’s heritage, the island is known for its rural charm, ancestral homes, picturesque landscapes and exceptional local products. I will accompany you, for a half day combining delicacy and cultural discoveries. On the program: wine tastings, ciders, jams, chocolates or fine cheeses (depending on the season and the availability of producers). Meet passionate artisans, discover their traditional methods and listen to the fascinating stories of this island inhabited since the beginning of New France. Between each stop, enjoy spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding hills. 2Parc de la Chute-Montmorency
(OPTIONAL, DEPENDING ON YOUR DESIRE) Discover the majestic Montmorency Falls Park, one of the most impressive natural sites in the Quebec City region. We will go to the top of the fall. You’ll feel the full power of the 83-metre plunge – 30 metres higher than Niagara Falls. From this unique perspective, you can admire the immensity of the basin and take spectacular photos as close as possible to the waterfall.From above, the panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River, Île d’Orléans and the surrounding area is simply magnificent. You’ll have the opportunity to cross the suspension bridge directly over the waterfall — an impressive and memorable experience. The tour also includes a stop near the Manoir Montmorency and the historic fortifications of the site, witnesses to a rich military past.
