Seoul Korean Cooking Class: Cook and Enjoy a Full Korean Meal

3 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English

This experience invites you to take part in creating a complete Korean meal, from cooking to table setting and enjoying the finished table.

Rather than focusing on individual recipes, you’ll learn how a Korean meal is built and enjoyed as a whole, following the way it’s prepared in everyday life.

Each guest cooks and plates their own meal at an individual station, allowing for a personal, hands-on experience throughout.
Once the table is complete, everyone sits down together to enjoy the meal they’ve prepared, experiencing how Korean food is served and shared.

Set in a private studio in Bukchon Hanok Village, the class flows naturally from cooking to dining in one continuous experience. It offers a clear, engaging way to cook, eat, and understand Korean food culture through the rhythm of a full meal.

What to expect

Step into a hands-on Korean cooking experience where you actively prepare and enjoy a complete Korean meal. After arriving at the studio, you’ll be welcomed and introduced to the flow of a traditional Korean table and how a meal is structured beyond individual dishes.

You’ll move into a guided cooking session, preparing the key components of a Korean meal at your own cooking station. As you cook, you’ll learn essential techniques, ingredients, and flavors used in everyday Korean home cooking, and how each element fits into the overall meal.

Once cooking is complete, you’ll arrange and set your own table, seeing how a Korean meal is traditionally presented and served. You’ll then sit down to enjoy the full meal you’ve prepared, served as an individual place setting, while learning how Korean food is shared and enjoyed in daily life.

Throughout the experience, the host provides clear guidance and context, helping you understand not only how Korean food is made, but how meals reflect culture, balance, and routine. The activity ends at the studio after the shared dining experience.
