    Upon arriving at Mutianyu Great Wall, you will be greeted by magnificent ancient ramparts winding endlessly across lush mountain ridges. Boasting a 96% forest coverage rate, it features fresh air and stunning four-season scenery, with blooming flowers in spring, lush greenery in summer, fiery red leaves in autumn and pure snow views in winter. You can witness the unique three-connected watchtower, a one-of-a-kind architectural wonder rarely seen on other sections of the Great Wall. More than 20 well-preserved watchtowers line the ridge with complete ancient defensive battlements. Standing on the high points, you can enjoy a panoramic view of rolling mountains and overlook the iconic Jiankou Great Wall in the distance. Less crowded than other Great Wall spots, Mutianyu offers a leisurely sightseeing experience. You can take a cable car for a bird’s-eye view of the winding wall or stroll along the ancient ramparts to take breathtaking photos.

    What to See at the Bird’s Nest When you arrive at the Olympic Park, the iconic woven steel structure of the Bird’s Nest will catch your eye at once. The interlaced steel frames deliver stunning visual impact. Lit up at dusk, it glows warm red, forming a picturesque contrast with the blue Water Cube beside it, perfect for photos. Outside the stadium, you can check out the auspicious cloud torch sculpture and experience the glory of the Summer and Winter Olympics.
