Nio-mon Gate

Meeting Point: In front of the Niomon Gate (main red gate) of Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Please look for your guide standing near the gate entrance. I will be holding an iPad.

End point
Yasaka Shrine

The tour ends at Yasaka Shrine (Gion area). After the tour, you are free to explore the area, enjoy local restaurants, or continue sightseeing on your own.

    Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Learn about its 1,200-year history, architectural structure, and the cultural meaning behind its famous wooden stage and main hall. Admission to Kiyomizu-dera Temple (500 JPY per person) is included in the tour price.

    Walk through the historic streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, two of Kyoto’s most iconic preserved districts.
