Lisbon Painting Workshop in Majólica

Have you ever painted your own Portuguese tiles in a creative experience full of history?

In this Majólica workshop, you will discover one of the most emblematic techniques of Portuguese ceramics, in a relaxed and inspiring environment, surrounded by authentic and historic tiles – ideal even for those who have never painted before.

The experience begins with a practical introduction to the Majólica technique, where the materials and the process of painting on raw glass are explained. For 60 minutes you can paint 2 tiles per person (for each extra tiles + 10€).

You can choose between free painting or stencils drawn with historical and cultural references. From 17th-century patterns, Pombalines used in the reconstruction of Lisbon after the 1755 earthquake, or typical 18th-century avulses, to more relaxed and iconic options like the electric Lisboeta or the inevitable Portuguese sardine.

At the end of the experiment, you will place the tiles in the ceramic oven for drying and baking. After the process, you can choose between pickup at the store (3 to 4 business days) or shipping home (additional cost).
