The Cave Tubing tour, favored by most guests, involves a 25-minute jungle trek, mostly flat terrain to reach the cave entrance. If you are lucky enough, you will encounter resident wildlife such as howler monkeys, iguanas, coatimundi, armadillos, or toucans, creating a vivid connection to the natural surroundings. Once you reach the cave entrance, your Cave Tubing tour starts as you float through the Caves Branch River of Caves traversing the last cave, with half the experience immersed in the captivating darkness and the other half meandering through the lush jungle. Within the caves your guide will be informing you on the geology of the formations and how these caves were once a portal to the Maya's Underworld (Xibalba). To make this extra special, you will get the chance to do some cave-cliff jumping within one of the caves you traverse.
