It is approximately 3 minutes by taxi from Arima Onsen Station. The studio is located along Arima Kaido Road in a black, single-story new building with firewood stacked at the entrance, making it easy to recognize.

What to expect

No calligraphy experience is necessary. Beginners are very welcome.
Learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy in a quiet, private studio near Arima Onsen. Discover the meaning of kanji and write your name in Japanese, or choose a character you feel connected to. Create a finished artwork to take home while enjoying matcha and traditional sweets in a calm setting.
