After a hearty breakfast, it will be time to visit the world famous Rock of Cashel, Holycross Abbey, which has a relic of the true cross will also be on the list, and Cahir castle. Saint Patrick's well, where Patrick himself baptised the locals in the 5th century will also be visited.
The town of Lismore, which has a fabulous castle as a focal point will be on the photographic list. The last port of call for Titanic, Cobh harbour will also be a good stop, and visit one of Ireland's most beautiful cathedrals, St. Colmans. Two nights in the county Kerry town of Killarney.
A drive around the Ring of Kerry, taking in Torc waterfall, Ladies view, Molls Gap, and some breathtaking views of the Lakes of Killarney. Take in some traditional Irish music and dance in the local pubs.
You will drive northwards along the "Wild Atlantic Way" crossing the river Shannon, and into county Clare. Spanish Point will be on the way to visiting the world famous Cliffs of Moher. The beautiful village of Doolin will be your lodging for tonight, where you can also enjoy some of the best traditional musicians in Ireland.
The Wild Atlantic Way goes on, driving along the Burren, an area made up of 550 sq km. Home to 70% of all wild flowers in Ireland, and a protected area of conservation. Dunguaire castle and the lovely harbour village of Kinvarra will be just some of the stops along this amazing coastal drive. The fabulous Trad on the Prom Irish music and dance show will be where you will be entertained tonight with many world champion dancers, and performers from Riverdance. One night in a Galway hotel.
You will see how diverse the landscape of Ireland is when you drive through the Connemara region of west Galway. Get a close up of the turf cutting in the bogs, and get lots of photo opportunities along the rivers and valleys of this very mountainous and rock filled countryside. The village of Cong, John Wayne bridge, and locations of the Quiet Man movie will be visited, along with Kylemore Abbey. Drive through the Doo Lough valley, with views of Ireland's only Fjord, Killary Fjord. One night in the pretty county Mayo town of Westport.
You will drive eastwards and drive through the centre of the country, a stop at the town of Athlone which has Ireland's oldest pub, Sean's Bar situated on the river Shannon. Your last night will be in the county Meath town of Trim, which has one of Ireland's largest castles, and was the location for all the castle scenes in the Mel Gibson movie, Braveheart.
Sadly, this will be the day you leave the emerald isle. You will have arrived as strangers, but shall leave as friends.
