A landmark of the neighborhood: self-managed social space with bar/restaurant and garden, it promotes active citizen participation and it's a space for cultural, social, and political events. Everyone knows Casetta Rossa here in Garbatella
A complex of buildings named Suburban Hotels, built between 1927 and 1929. A nice, vibrant piazza with bars and restaurants, and Church of Sant'Eurosia, a small country church incorporated into the city when Garbatella was built
One of the main squares of the district, with a monumental buding (the school) that strongly defines a central location in the Garbatella neighborhood. This building has welcomed (and still welcomes) generations of local children. Notice the four eagles on the facade!
Another landmark for social activities: a cultural center offering many activities such as a chess club, book presentations, debates, festivals on current issues. It also has a small bar open on weekends, run by people with autism. Very nice building with small garden
