Meet me at the flower shop, which is just inside the front gates of Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The security guards will tell you where to park.

Founded in 1899, the cemetery is one of the world’s most visited landmarks, and the final resting place of hundreds of Hollywood legends, including David Lynch, Paul Reubens aka Pee-Wee Herman, Judy Garland, Chris Cornell, Cecil B. DeMille, Rudolph Valentino, Mickey Rooney, Tyrone Power, Douglas Fairbanks, Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone, Valerie Harper and hundreds of others, alongside thousands of neighborhood residents and individuals from across the globe. The functioning cemetery offers lawn spaces, cremation niches, mausoleum crypts, and the Beth Olam section is one of the oldest, active Jewish cemeteries in California.

- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- There is a considerable amount of walking. Parts of the cemetery are wheelchair accessible and parts are not. That said, I make every effort to accommodate tour guests.
- Not recommended during extreme heat.
