Pickup details:

Guests will be picked up directly from airport, their hotel or accommodation in Ulaanbaatar. The guide/driver will contact guests the day before the tour to confirm pickup time. On the day of the tour, the guide will wait in the hotel lobby (Chinggis Khaan airport arrival) and identify the lead traveler by name. Guests may also contact the guide via phone or WhatsApp if needed.

OR
Meeting point

If hotel pickup is not available or the guest is staying outside the pickup area, the meeting point will be Grand Khaan Irish Pub on Seoul Street, Ulaanbaatar. The guide will wait outside the entrance and identify the lead traveler by name.

    Chinggis Khan Statue Complex

    Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex Travelers will visit the iconic 40-meter Chinggis Khaan Statue, the largest equestrian statue in the world. Guests can walk inside the statue structure, explore the museum exhibits detailing Mongolia’s imperial history, and access the panoramic viewing platform at the top for sweeping steppe views. During the visit, I will provide historical context about Chinggis Khaan’s leadership, the Mongol Empire’s global influence, and how his legacy continues to shape modern Mongolia. This stop combines cultural education with a unique architectural landmark experience. Travelers will enjoy a guided camel ride, experiencing traditional Bactrian camels commonly used in Mongolian nomadic life. Safety instructions are provided before the ride. The experience includes a unique opportunity to safely hold a trained golden eagle for a memorable photo while learning about traditional eagle hunting practices in Mongolia. Also traditional archery will be available to enjoy.

    Travelers will explore Terelj National Park, known for its granite rock formations, open steppe landscapes, and scenic valleys. This stop offers opportunities for short nature walks and photography while learning about the region’s geography and traditional nomadic lifestyle. At Turtle Rock, one of the park’s most famous natural landmarks, guests will take a guided walk around the formation and hear local stories and explanations about its unique shape and significance. The tour continues with a hike to Ariyabal Meditation Temple, a Buddhist temple located on a hillside overlooking the valley. Travelers will climb the stairway path to the temple, enjoy panoramic views of Terelj, and learn about Mongolia’s Buddhist traditions and spiritual practices. This portion of the tour combines light hiking, cultural insight, and scenic exploration.
