Before entering the water, you’ll receive a clear and easy-to-follow beach lesson where we teach the fundamentals of surfing, including ocean safety, paddling techniques, and how to stand up on the board. Once in the water, your instructor stays close to guide you through the process and help you catch your first waves.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Hotel pickup is available from most hotels and accommodations in Cabo San Lucas not from San Jose.
Please note that transportation time to the surf beaches is approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic and ocean conditions. Our team will contact you in advance to confirm the exact pickup time and location.
We recommend being ready at least 5–10 minutes before your scheduled pickup to ensure a smooth departure.
If you are staying at a private residence or Airbnb, please provide detailed directions or a nearby landmark for easier coordination.
What to expect
Join us for an unforgettable surf lesson on the beautiful beaches of Cabo San Lucas. This experience is designed for beginners and first-time surfers who want to learn how to ride waves in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.
Your surf experience begins with a short welcome and introduction on the beach where your instructor will provide all the necessary equipment, including a surfboard and rash guard. Before entering the water, we start with a land lesson where you will learn the fundamentals of surfing. This includes ocean safety, how to position yourself on the board, paddling techniques, how to stand up, and how to ride your first wave.
Throughout the lesson you will practice:
• Paddling and board control
• Timing the waves
• Standing up on the surfboard
• Riding white-water waves
• Basic surf etiquette and ocean awareness
Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or with family, this experience is a great way to enjoy the ocean and try something new while visiting Cabo.
By the end of the lesson you’ll leave with new skills, great memories, and hopefully the excitement of catching your first waves.
