Meet your guide, chauffeur and sommelier: Daniel is a WSET certified sommelier, working for 20+ years in Portugal and the UK in Michelin Star and other fine dining restaurants.
He has been working for over 8 years doing wine tours in the Douro and noted there was a lack of premium experiences that connected guests to the land they visited. Over the years, he has built relationships with premium family-owned estates and has personally curated his offerings at two different price points. Both offer exclusive and private tours with no large buses, vans, or crowds of people, just you, Daniel and his personal vehicle taking you through stunning scenery and teaching you the history, geography and unique climate of the Douro valley and the wonderful food and drink it produces.

An exclusive 9-hour ultra-private luxury journey through the Douro valley. For the discerning guest seeking more than wine tastings.
You will be picked up at your accommodations and travel by private vehicle as an individual, couple or a small group of your choosing of no more than 5 people, to one of the world's oldest wine regions, not as a tourist but as a guardian of the region’s rich heritage

Visits to two family-owned boutique wine estates
Tasting 12 premium wines and ports
Snacks, including local charcuterie, olives and olive oil tastings
A private 4-course gourmet lunch, overlooking the Douro River, with exclusive wine pairings
A one-hour private boat cruise on the Douro River with sparkling wine and snacks
A bottle of Ruby Port that you can seal and age at the estate, take home with you or open and enjoy right away
Adopting your own grape vine which, in approximately five years, will produce approximately 10 bottles of wine, cellared until you return, or shipped to you
Sample a vintage bottle of Port after watching it being opened by fire
