This is a unique private experience that combines both professional photography and guided sightseeing — something you don’t often find in Kyoto.
Led by a friendly local photographer who lives in Kyoto, you’ll visit not only the famous landmarks but also quiet backstreets and special locations known only to locals.
As we explore, you’ll learn about Kyoto’s history and culture in a relaxed and enjoyable way, while natural and beautiful moments are captured along the way. Upon request, I can also recommend well-known local restaurants and hidden bars loved by residents.

Meeting and pickup
Please meet in front of the large angel wings mural at Kakao Market by Mariebelle in Gion, Kyoto. A guide wearing a camera around his neck will be waiting at the meeting point, holding a “Kyoto Gion Photo Tour” board for easy identification.
