Once you arrive at Morogoro Railway Station, your expert driver-guide will welcome you and provide a brief safari introduction before departing on a scenic two-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival at the park’s main entrance gate, complete the entry formalities and begin your exciting game drive through one of Tanzania’s most accessible wildlife destinations. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the park restaurant before continuing your afternoon safari across the open plains. Keep your camera ready as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and, if you’re lucky, lions and other predators. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights about the park’s wildlife and ecosystems as your adventure continues until late evening before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
