A Mission of Mercy: The Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh After working up an appetite on the trails and enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local stilt house, we transition from the wild jungle to a place of healing. The Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh, managed by FOUR PAWS, is a world-class facility dedicated to ending the cruel practice of bear bile farming in Vietnam. Most of the residents here are Asiatic Black Bears (Moon Bears) and Sun Bears who have been rescued from horrific conditions.
