    Train Cemetery

    The Train Cemetery is an abandoned train site. It is located southwest of the city of Uyuni, a few kilometers from the city center, and is said to be the largest railway cemetery in the world. There are a total of around 100 locomotives and carriages in the railway cemetery, the oldest of which date from the late 19th century.     Colchani

    It is a town on the banks of the Salar whose economic activities are linked to salt extraction, agriculture (quinoa royal), salt crafts and tourism. It is the obligatory stopping point on the way to the Majestic Salar de Uyuni, one of the peculiarities of the place is the construction of small houses made with salt bricks and one of its attractions besides the salt factory are the salt craft stands located in the main street.     Salar de Uyuni

    The Uyuni salt flat is one of Bolivia’s main tourist destinations, with approximately 300,000 tourists visiting each year. In 2019 it was awarded by the World Travel Awards as the “Best Natural Tourist Attraction in South America”. Attractions or Activities : - Eyes of water : Under the saltwater flow rivers of fresh and salt water, these "eyes" of the saltwater are the places where the air comes out, this manifests itself through bubbles that rise to the surface with the water laden with minerals. - Monument to the Dakar Rally built with salt blocks in tribute to this international competition that took place in the Salar de Uyuni. - Flag Square, fun place where all the flags of tourist countries that visited the Salar de Uyuni are planted. - First hotel built with salt blocks today museum and dining room.     Isla Incahuasi

    (Not available in the rainy season) Giant cacti up to 10 m high are found on Incahuasi Island. This island is the largest of the set of islets located in the center of the Uyuni salt flat. The island operates a tourist reception centre belonging to the commonwealth of municipalities of Llica and Tahua, in whose territory the island is located. Visitors are charged an entrance fee to access a well-signposted and easily practicable trail that runs through the island and allows you to enjoy the views over the salt flat, cobalt blue sky and hundreds of cacti.     Pulacayo - Tomave - Hot Springs

    We will visit the Mining Museum in the community of Pulacayo, where we will learn about the historical importance of mining activity in Bolivia.

    Afterwards, we will arrive in the community of Tomave to appreciate its colonial church, an architectural gem surrounded by Andean landscapes. The tour continues to the hot springs, where you will have time to relax in natural waters and recharge. During the journey, it will be common to observe typical highland fauna, such as vicuñas, llamas and sheep, ideal for photographs in their natural habitat. Later we will visit the Green Lagoon, the Orko Kasilla Lagoon and the New World area, to finally enter stunning desert landscapes, where the colors and tranquility of the environment close this unforgettable experience.
