Hosted by Simon, a Chipping Norton local with a farming background and inside knowledge of the area, this is a relaxed, personal way to discover the places connected with Clarkson’s Farm.
With a maximum of seven guests travelling in a luxury Mercedes V-Class, this is a friendly small-group tour, not a coach trip. There’s time for conversation, local stories, photos and enjoying the places we visit without feeling rushed.

You’ll see the places from the show you expect — and some you won’t. I deliberately don’t advertise every filming location and local stop in advance, so part of the fun is discovering them on the day.
Join as strangers, leave as friends. Spend the day like a local.
Please meet outside the ticket office in the forecourt/car park area. Your host Simon will greet you before departure. The tour vehicle is a grey Mercedes V-Class multi-passenger vehicle unless told otherwise. Licence Plate: LM23 UZC Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Meet Simon outside the ticket office at Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station at 10:20 for a 10:30 departure. Local pickups around Chipping Norton may be possible by prior arrangement. With a maximum of seven guests, this is a relaxed small-group tour hosted by Simon, a Chipping Norton local with a farming background. From Moreton-in-Marsh, we head through Chipping Norton and into the countryside around Clarkson’s Farm.
At Diddly Squat Farm Shop, you’ll have around 45 minutes to take photos, look around and buy something to eat or drink. You can visit the shop, but when it’s busy I often recommend avoiding the queue, as there are other local ways to buy Diddly Squat products without waiting. I do not offer queue-jumping or guarantee time to enter the shop.
rom Diddly Squat, I take you through the local village and countryside to filming locations connected with Clarkson’s Farm, including a countryside walk and several stops from the programme. I deliberately don’t advertise every location in advance — part of the fun is discovering some of these places on the day.
I also take you to a traditional village pub used by Jeremy Clarkson and Gerald Cooper, with time for a drink before we continue towards The Farmer’s Dog. The drive takes us through some beautiful Cotswold countryside that most visitors — and even many locals — miss. At The Farmer’s Dog, you’ll usually have around 80–90 minutes to buy food and drinks, explore The Grand Tour Tent, and go inside the pub for drinks and photos. A reserved table or sit-down meal inside the pub is not included.
The afternoon continues through the Cotswolds, usually via Burford and Bourton-on-the-Water, depending on traffic. This is a scenic drive rather than a scheduled stop.
I then take you to Hawkstone Brewery’s Tap Yard, The Hawkstone Arms, where you’ll have time for a drink, photos and a look around before we begin the journey back to Moreton-in-Marsh.
Depending on timings and how the day is going, there may be time for an additional country pub stop before we return through the Cotswold countryside to Moreton-in-Marsh Railway Station. I normally arrive back at around 17:30, although timings can vary slightly depending on traffic, queues and how the day has gone. If you’re not in a hurry to leave, you’re very welcome to stay on and enjoy the pubs of Moreton-in-Marsh with me after the tour.
