We are sure that the most special thing about this activity is the authenticity and personalization of the service. We emphasize that the activity is done in our home and not in a tourist place that makes it even more special since we open the doors of our home to people we do not know, but who we want to feel comfortable as when we receive our best friends to cook together and have a wonderful time.
We do our utmost to offer an interactive experience where you will discover the unique flavors of traditional tortillas and empanadas with delicious accompaniments of Costa Rican cuisine.

Traditional Tortillas

We will guide you in the process of preparing tortillas from scratch. We will teach you how to prepare the dough and some of the traditional accompaniments.

We will teach you how to prepare delicious patties filled with cheese, Milena special beans and Milena special fresh chicken too.

Everything you cook with your own hands will be served at the end so you can enjoy our delicious traditional recipes.

We are the owners of the Minisuper Las Brisas and Laundry so the easiest thing to do is to find us with that reference, we are located in Barrio Las Brisas, El Tanque de La Fortuna just 7 minutes from the center of La Fortuna.

What to expect

Learn how to prepare delicious tortillas, empanadas, chicken and specialty beans in the house and specialty coffee in a traditional way with the recipes that our ancestors have inherited and that we hope to share with you while enjoying a spontaneous conversation and sharing a little of our culture.
