Cappadocia Pottery Making Experience in Avanos

During this experience, guests will visit a traditional pottery workshop in Avanos, a town famous for its pottery tradition dating back thousands of years.

First, a local pottery master will demonstrate how traditional Cappadocian pottery is made using red clay from the Kızılırmak River. Guests will learn about the history of pottery in the region and watch the artisan shape clay on the pottery wheel.

After the demonstration, guests will have the opportunity to try making their own pottery on the wheel with guidance from the master. This hands-on experience is fun and suitable for beginners.

Guests can take photos during the experience and learn about traditional Anatolian craftsmanship. At the end of the workshop, visitors can explore the pottery gallery and see many handmade ceramics created by local artisans.
