Discover the authenticity of Sao Miguel Island through a tour that combines nature, culture and Azorean rural tradition. The experience begins with a visit to a traditional farm, where you will be able to learn about the way of life of the rural families of old, to observe agricultural utensils, plants and animals of the farm and even to try to past a cow.

Next, we will visit a local cheesecake where the traditional fresh cheese wrapped in container leaf is produced, knowing the craft process and the importance of this gastronomic tradition.

The tour continues to the emblematic Seven Cities area, with stops at miradours to appreciate the lagoons and volcanic landscapes, where lunch will also be served.

After lunch, we will visit a dairy farm in activity to learn about the daily milk production and the importance of farming in the local economy.

Warning: The tour takes place on a Land Rover, but takes place on normal roads and is not an all-terrain ride.

    Visit to a traditional Azorean farmhouse in Ponta Delgada. It is an authentic experience that brings visitors closer to the rural life of Azores. Upon arrival, we are welcomed by the quiet environment of the farm, surrounded by intense green and the aroma of wet soil. During the visit, it is possible to meet the farm animals, observe the plantations and learn about the traditional methods of cultivation used in the region. The direct contact with nature and agricultural routines provides a deeper understanding of the importance of local agriculture. Along the way, visitors can also taste some fresh farm products, prepared in a simple and tasty way. The experience is educational and relaxing, ideal for those who want to better know the rural traditions and the connection of Azorians to the land.
