Starting your Rhine river cruise in Basel after your stay in Zermatt? We pick you up at the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch – just take the Shuttle Train from car-free Zermatt – and drive you directly to your ship at the St. Johann, Dreiländereck or Klybeck cruise terminal, or to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Basel SBB station or your hotel in Basel. No train changes, no carrying suitcases and skis through stations.
Choose the vehicle that fits your group AND your luggage: Mercedes E-Class for up to 3 guests, Mercedes V-Class for up to 5 guests, or our Ski Van (Ford Transit 8+1) for up to 8 guests with up to 8 pairs of skis or snowboards stored safely INSIDE the vehicle – not on the roof.
Private service for your group only, with a professional local driver who knows the alpine roads in winter. Meet & greet with a name sign, help with your luggage and bottled water on board. We plan your pickup time around your ship's boarding time or your flight, so you arrive relaxed.

Meeting and pickup
Zermatt is car-free. Please take the Shuttle Train from Zermatt to Täsch (12 min, every 20 min). Your driver waits for you at the exit of the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch with a name sign. We contact you by WhatsApp or SMS the day before to confirm the pickup time. Please tell us your cruise ship name and boarding time, or your flight time, when booking.
What to expect
2. Pickup: Zermatt is car-free. Take the Shuttle Train from Zermatt to Täsch (12 min, every 20 min). Your driver waits for you at the exit of the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch with a name sign and helps you load your luggage and skis.
3. The drive: a direct private transfer through the Swiss Alps to Basel, about 3 hours 20 minutes. No stops for other passengers. A short comfort stop is possible on request. Bottled water is on board.
4. Drop-off: your driver takes you directly to your river cruise terminal in Basel (St. Johann, Dreiländereck or Klybeck), to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Basel SBB station or your hotel in Basel, and helps you unload your luggage.
