    Day 1

    HANOI – WELCOME ABOARD

    Guests are picked up from their confirmed Hanoi hotel or pre-arranged meeting point at approximately 4:30 PM and transferred to Gia Lam Station. Upon arrival, complete the check-in procedure and relax in the VIP lounge before boarding the SJourney luxury train. At approximately 6:00 PM, join the welcome program and enjoy dinner in the restaurant carriage. As the train departs Hanoi, it crosses the historic Long Bien Bridge and continues south toward Ninh Binh. Spend the first night in your private cabin onboard SJourney.     NINH BINH – VIETNAM’S ANCIENT CAPITAL

    Begin the morning with breakfast onboard before disembarking for a full-day exploration of Ninh Binh. Travel by traditional sampan through the waterways of the Trang An Landscape Complex, surrounded by limestone mountains and lush vegetation. Continue to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s former capital, to visit historic temples associated with the Dinh and Early Le dynasties. Return to the train for lunch and afternoon tea while traveling through northern Vietnam. Dinner is served onboard as the journey continues south.     QUANG BINH – PHONG NHA CAVES AND COUNTRYSIDE EXPERIENCE

    Enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking in Quang Binh. Travel to Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a boat journey along the Son River and explore the underground river and natural formations of Phong Nha Cave. Return to the train in the afternoon for relaxation and scheduled onboard activities. In the evening, enjoy a countryside dining experience. Guests may also join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration, subject to the operating program. Later, reboard the train and continue toward Hue.     HUE – HERITAGE OF VIETNAM’S LAST IMPERIAL DYNASTY

    Begin the day with a traditional rickshaw or cyclo ride through Hue before visiting the Imperial Citadel, the former political and ceremonial center of the Nguyen Dynasty. Continue by private vehicle to the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, followed by a visit to Hue’s traditional Incense Village. Depending on the operating program, guests may participate in a local craft activity. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional Hue cuisine. Return to the train in the afternoon and continue south. During the journey, admire views of the Perfume River, coastal landscapes and Lang Co Lagoon. Travel by jeep to Au Lac Wood Art for a hands-on woodblock printing experience. Continue to Thanh Ha Pottery Village to learn about traditional pottery and try shaping a ceramic item. Enjoy a home-hosted lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients. In the afternoon, explore Hoi An Ancient Town, including Hoi An Market, the Fujian Assembly Hall, a traditional merchant house such as Phung Hung or Tan Ky, and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Continue to the Fish Sauce Museum to learn about the history, production methods and cultural importance of fish sauce in Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy lunch at a coastal restaurant before returning to the train for rest. Later, visit the historic Poshanu Cham Towers. A farewell dinner is arranged as part of the final evening program.     HO CHI MINH CITY – ARRIVAL AND FAREWELL

After disembarkation, guests are transferred to their confirmed hotel in Ho Chi Minh City or Tan Son Nhat International Airport, depending on the confirmed travel arrangements.
