    Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Kigali, one of Africa’s cleanest and most vibrant cities. After pickup from the airport or your hotel, you’ll head straight into a meaningful and eye-opening city experience. After your city visit, you’ll proceed on a scenic drive north toward the Uganda border at Cyanika Border Post. Enjoy views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and countryside along the way. Upon arrival, you will cross into Uganda and continue to your preferred accommodation for an overnight stay near Kisoro, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

    The Gorilla Encounter Once the gorillas are located, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch as they feed, groom, play, and interact—often just a few meters away. Seeing a massive silverback alongside its family is a powerful and humbling experience. Return & Relaxation After the trek, you’ll return to the starting point where you’ll receive a trekking certificate. Then head back to your lodge to relax and reflect on the day’s adventure.

    Kisoro Coffee Tour After breakfast at Ikaze Cottages, travelers will head to Kisoro, a charming town in southwestern Uganda near the Bunagana border (DRC-Uganda). The tour offers a hands-on experience of locally grown Arabica coffee, famous for its rich flavor and aromatic profile. During the visit, you will: Walk through coffee farms, observing how beans are grown, harvested, and processed Learn from local farmers about traditional and modern cultivation techniques See the drying, roasting, and grinding process, gaining insight into farm-to-cup production Participate in tastings, sampling freshly brewed coffee and learning to appreciate its flavors The tour often concludes with a lunch at the German Grandmother’s Coffee Pot, a local eatery serving homemade dishes that pair perfectly with freshly brewed coffee. This experience combines culture, education, and culinary delight, giving travelers a memorable taste of Uganda’s coffee heritage before heading back to Kigali.
