Your morning begins with a scenic drive into Madeira’s mountains, heading towards one of the island’s most breathtaking high-altitude viewpoints. The goal is to experience the sunrise above the clouds, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and unforgettable views.
Madeira’s weather can change quickly. If conditions at the main location are not ideal, we have alternative viewpoints and Plan B options to provide the best possible experience. However, sunrise visibility cannot be guaranteed in bad weather.
After sunrise, enjoy a short walk followed by scenic stops and viewpoints, allowing you to discover more of Madeira’s natural beauty. We’ll also make time for a breakfast stop, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the morning. Food and drinks are not included. After breakfast, we’ll visit a secret spot away from the usual tourist paths.
We’ll then make our way back to your accommodation, ending a peaceful morning before the island fully wakes up.

This is the first stop of the tour, where we’ll watch the sunrise and take in the stunning views.

After sunrise, we’ll drive down to Ribeiro Frio, where you’ll begin the PR11 Levada dos Balcões hike.

3Ribeiro Frio
After the PR11 hike, we’ll stop at a local coffee shop before heading to a secret spot known for its stunning views and peaceful atmosphere.
