Day 2
Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, depart for the Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon where cliffs rise up to 300 meters. Along the way, you may see nomadic Berber families herding their sheep and goats. Enjoy free time to walk along the canyon and river before continuing your journey.

After visiting the Todra Gorges, we will head toward the Sahara Desert. Along the way, we stop in Tinjdad Village for lunch before continuing through traditional Berber villages. Next, we arrive in Erfoud, a bustling town on the edge of the Sahara, where we prepare for the desert adventure ahead

Optional Stop in Erfoud: Visit this town, famous for its fossils and unique geological treasures. then we drive to Merzouga and prepare for your camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Travel across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert camp. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music, and join in drumming and dancing if you wish.

Around Merzouga and Rissani.

Wake-up early to catch the sunrise in the desert and after breakfast you will start an amazing trip alongside the dunes while passing by the oasis. Visit Khamlia village to listen to Gnaoua musicians, then a short drive will take you to Rissani to experience the authentic local market, lunch in Rissani and return to Merzouga hotel for relaxing and swwiming pool overnight in the hotel
