Macs is a lively interdisciplinary arts and crafts studio in the Lapa area in central Porto. In your studio space, different art forms are practiced while the front area is reserved for ceramics. Your friendly and creative community are happy to welcome you in this special space where you can take inspiration from other’s creations.

The meeting point is at MACS, Rua da Boavista in the studio. Arrive 15 minutes early please.

What to expect

In this relaxed and welcoming session, you’ll design and paint your own ceramic tile inspired by traditional Portuguese patterns. You’ll paint your tile using traditional techniques and ceramic pigments in a cozy art and ceramics studio in the heart of Porto, with tea and a small snack to nibble on while you get creative.

Each participant paints one ceramic tile.

Tiles require kiln firing and therefore cannot be taken home on the same day.
Shipping is available worldwide for an additional fee.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the workshop may be rescheduled or cancelled, and participants will receive a full refund.

Come enjoy a creative experience and leave with a unique handmade souvenir inspired by Portugal’s iconic tiles.
