You’ll be guided through fundamental techniques like pinch pots, slab building, and coil construction, as well as surface decoration using engobes. Rather than simply following instructions, you’re encouraged to experiment and shape something personal and unique.
By the end, you will have made a handmade ceramic piece with a meaningful creative experience.

We are located on Rua da Boavista, 84 in Porto. There will be someone to greet you into the studio space. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.

What to expect

Open-form ceramic workshop in the studio of the artist Mab.ko.

A gentle introduction to ceramic handbuilding.

The workshop can be held in English, Portuguese, or French (the language will be adapted to the group).

During the session, you will explore basic techniques such as pinch pots, slabs, coils, and engobes, and create your own ceramic piece.
