Head to Olivos Tours office, located on Avenida Ferroviaria between Avenida Arce and Bolivar. 50 meters south of the main gate of the train station.
The adventure starts at 10:30 a.m. with pickup from your hotel, bus terminal or airport in Uyuni. The first stop is the iconic Train Cemetery, where old locomotives tell the mining history of the region.
Then you will visit Colchani, where you will know the artisan process of salt and you can buy local crafts.
You will enter the impressive Salar de Uyuni, visiting the Eyes of Salt and a Salt Hotel turned museum, built entirely of salt blocks. Continue to the World Flags and Dakar Rally Monument, iconic places for photographs. The tour continues to the Salt Staircase
Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and panoramic views of the infinite salt flat. The island has a visitor service point managed by the association of municipalities of Llica and Tahua, jurisdictions to which this territory belongs. In this place, you are asked, optionally, to pay a fee of 30 bolivianos to enter a clearly marked and easy to travel path. This trail allows you to cross the island while you can see stunning landscapes of the salt flat, the intense blue of the sky and the large number of cacti that inhabit the area. (In the rainy season, from January to March, access to Incahuasi Island IS NOT POSSIBLE due to high water accumulation.)
At the end of the day, you will enjoy an unforgettable sunset, where the colors of the sky are reflected on the white or mirrored surface of the salt flat. Overnight : Community of San Juan in rustic salt hotel. Includes dinner, hot mate and breakfast.
Departure at 8:00 a.m. for the southern highlands. The day begins with a visit to the Salar de Chiguana, followed by the viewpoint of the Ollagüe volcano, an active volcano that emits visible fumaroles.
Altiplanic lagoon, natural habitat of flamingos and surrounded by majestic volcanoes. To the south are Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, Honda and Ramadita, where you can find many flamingos. Other birds, such as Andean geese and gulls, accompany flamingos in these lagoons flanked by snow-capped volcanoes that have a green skirt below. You will have a stop at the Mirador del Volcano Ollague at 5865 meters above sea level, one of the most active volcanoes in the Cordillera Occidental. From there you will observe fumaroles approximately 100 meters high. You will be immersed in volcanic rocks that have particular shapes.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at the impressive Laguna Colorada, known for its reddish waters and the large number of flamingos that inhabit it. Admission to Eduardo Avaroa National Park costs approximately 150 Bs. which may vary according to season.
Departure very early at 5:00 a.m. to take advantage of the scenery at dawn. You will visit the stunning Tomorrow Sun Geysers, where plumes of steam and volcanic activity create a unique setting.
Then you can relax in the Polques Hot Springs, at a modest price of 6 Bs. ideal for a comforting swim in the middle of the highlands.
The tour continues to the Salt Lagoon and the surreal Dali Desert, famous for its landscapes reminiscent of paintings.
You’ll reach the spectacular Green Lagoon, located at the foot of the imposing Licancabur Volcano, and then the White Lagoon, both with intense colors and breathtaking views.
On the way back you will visit Villa Mar, the enigmatic Mysterious Lagoon and the fascinating Valley of Volcanic Rocks, unique natural formations. Finally, you will pass through the historic town of San Cristobal, before returning to Uyuni at around 18:00 hrs.
