With more than 10 years of guiding travelers — first in Havana, Cuba, and now in Los Angeles — I learned that what people are really looking for on a tour is not encyclopedia data : it’s understanding a city, connecting with its culture and really enjoying it.
My tours have no timed script or lines of tourists following a little flag. These are private, self-paced tours where we will walk through the most iconic places in Hollywood while telling you the stories that don’t appear in any guidebooks — those that only someone who has lived through two very different cultures can tell.
I speak Spanish, English, French and Italian. No barriers, no taboo topics — ask what you want. A good debate is always welcome.
This is not surface tourism. It’s knowing Los Angeles through the eyes of someone who came looking for their American dream and found a fascinating city that changes every day.
Of course: we walk a lot and energetically. Bring comfortable shoes and want to enjoy!
Just outside the entrance to the Roosevelt Hotel I will be waiting, my name is Abdiel and I will contact you by phone when I am on site. I will always arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
After taking a tour of the Observatory and giving the necessary explanations, in addition to taking the photos you want, you can choose to stay on site until dark to enjoy the spectacular views or take the return bus that runs until 22:00.
We'll start at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Hollywood Boulevard, with live music, street art and the best views of the Hollywood sign from the top floors. The guide will tell you anecdotes of the Red Carpet and movie history while you have free time for photos, shopping or a cafe with views.
We will arrive at Griffith Observatory, one of the most impressive viewpoints in Los Angeles. Enjoy 360° panoramic views over the city, the iconic Hollywood sign and, if the day is clear, the Pacific Ocean. We will explore free astronomy exhibitions, planetarium and historical telescopes.
