Escape the heat and noise of Marrakech for a full day in the Ourika Valley, with green slopes, a river and mountain air.

Your certified driver picks you up from your hotel or riad (or a nearby meeting point if your riad is inside the medina) and takes you into the Atlas foothills. Your first stop is a traditional Berber village, where you can meet a local family and visit a women's argan oil cooperative.
At Setti Fatma, a local guide leads you on a moderate hike along the river to a series of waterfalls. The route is suitable for most fitness levels, with plenty of stops for photos and rests. Afterwards you'll have a three-course Moroccan lunch at a riverside restaurant with views over the valley, then relax before the drive back to Marrakech in the late afternoon
