Step into everyday Japan with a hands-on cooking experience in a traditional Japanese home.
Hosted by Sayuri, an experienced natural food chef, this intimate small-group experience combines seasonal Japanese home cooking with the warmth of Japanese hospitality.
Prepare your own bento, sushi rolls, and seasonal side dishes, then enjoy your meal in a peaceful tatami room overlooking a koi garden. Finish with freshly whisked matcha and seasonal Japanese sweets.
With a maximum of 4 guests, this is a personal way to experience Japanese food, culture, and everyday life away from the crowds of central Osaka. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
We'll meet at Kawanishi Station (on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line).
How to get there from central Osaka:
1.Take a JR train or subway to Tennoji Station.
2.Walk to Osaka-Abenobashi Station, which is directly connected to Tennoji Station (an easy 3-5 minute walk indoors).
3.Take the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line local train from Osaka-Abenobashi Station to Kawanishi Station. (The ride takes about 30 minutes with no transfers).
I will be waiting for you right at the ticket gate of Kawanishi Station (there is only one main exit/gate, so it's very easy to find me!). From there, I will drive you to my home (approx. 5 minutes).
