What to expect

Your experience begins with a warm welcome at your surf school, where you'll meet your experienced local instructor and receive your surfboard and rash guard. After a short beach safety briefing, you'll learn the fundamentals of surfing, including paddling, balancing, standing up, wave selection, and ocean safety.

Once you're ready, you'll head into the warm waters of Weligama Bay with your instructor, who will provide personalized coaching throughout the lesson. You'll practice catching waves, improve your technique, and build confidence in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, the lesson is tailored to your experience level.

After your surf session, you're welcome to relax and make the most of your beachfront facilities.
