  Travel With Tlatoanis

  Discover the traditions and culture of the region in an artisan workshop, where you will know the transformation process of the maguey and its importance in the daily life of ancient civilizations and current communities. You will learn how traditional drinks such as pulque, tequila and mezcal are made, as well as know the different uses of the plant, including mixiote, the thin membrane obtained from the leaves of maguey and used in Mexican gastronomy. You’ll also enjoy an explanation of Teotihuacan’s obsidian and other characteristic volcanic minerals, discovering their properties, their historical importance and how local artisans transform them into unique pieces. At the end, you will have time to tour the craft shop and purchase souvenirs made by producers in the region, if you wish.

  Zona Arqueologica De Teotihuacan

  Explore the majestic Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacan at your own pace and enjoy the freedom to tour one of the most important pre-Hispanic sites in Mexico. You will have time to visit the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, the Causeway of the Dead and other emblematic spaces, admiring its impressive architecture and its historical richness. This package includes access to the archaeological zone for each traveler to explore freely according to their interests. If you want a more complete experience, you can hire a certified guide directly on site for an additional cost.

  Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe

  As part of the return to Mexico City, we offer the option of finishing the experience at the Angel of Independence or the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most visited religious shrines in the world. If you decide to descend on the Basilica, you will have time to tour the grounds, visit the New Basilica, the Old Basilica and other spaces of great historical and spiritual value. From there you can return to your hotel or Airbnb on your own, using taxi or transport apps. This flexibility allows you to make the most of your day and continue exploring Mexico City at your own pace.
