This tour is an in-depth educational experience of the history and meaning of the monuments. We will begin at the entrance point to the FDR Memorial and conclude at the Lincoln Memorial. This tour is designed as an in-depth discussion on the history of the memorials and Washington D.C. rather than a scenic stop-and-capture tour. It lasts approximately 2.5 - 3 hours and visits the following memorials/ areas:
- President Franklin D Roosevelt (FDR) Memorial
- Tidal Basin with view of the Jefferson Memorial
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Memorial
- Korea War Memorial
- Reflection Pool with view of the Washington Monument
- Vietnam War Memorial
- Vietnam's Women's Memorial
- Lincoln Memorial

We begin the tour at the FDR Memorial, the largest memorial with four sections.
We will walk by the Tidal Basin and have a view of the Jefferson Memorial. We will discuss the history of the area, the Cherry Blossoms, and the memorial.
At the MLK memorial, we will discuss the impact of the civil rights movement and the development of this memorial.
Visit the Korean War Memorial and discuss the unique design to honor those who served in the "forgotten war".
From the reflecting pool, we will be able to see and discuss the Washington Monument.
The Vietnam Veterans War Memorial is one of the most unique on the National Mall. We will discuss its development, the impact on the war, and unique design.
The Vietnam Women's Memorial is the only monument dedicated to women on the National Mall. We'll take a minute to discuss and appreciate it.
We conclude our tour at one of the most iconic memorials in Washington D.C.
