"Unlike standard city tours, we take you into the heart of a real Uzbek home for a truly private and intimate experience. You won't just watch; you’ll learn the ancient techniques of Samarkand Plov-making directly from a local family using a traditional wood-fired kazan. Because this is a private activity, we move at your pace, allowing you to engage deeply with village life, ask questions, and customize the day to your interests—whether that’s spending more time in the local gardens or learning extra Uzbek recipes. It’s more than a tour; it’s a genuine cultural exchange."
1. Starter: Achichuk Salad
A refreshing traditional salad made with thinly sliced vine-ripened tomatoes, onions, and spicy peppers to balance the richness of the Plov.
2. Starter: Fresh Samarkand Non (Bread)
Famous local clay-oven bread, served warm with artisanal butter or local honey.
3. Main Course: Authentic Samarkand Plov
The star of the show. Layers of tender beef or lamb, yellow carrots, chickpeas, and raisins, cooked in a traditional kazan over a wood fire.
4. Dessert: Seasonal Fruits & Halva
A selection of Samarkand’s famous sweet grapes, melons, or dried fruits served alongside traditional Uzbek halva and green tea.
