What to expect

Set out from Murrells Inlet on a 4-hour nearshore fishing trip targeting Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks just 3–5 miles offshore. No experience is needed, and our crew will guide you through the entire process from start to finish.

Please arrive 30 minutes early at Crazy Sister Marina to check in, get ready, and board the vessel. Before departure, our crew will provide a quick safety briefing and explain how the fishing gear works, what to expect when you get a bite, and how to safely handle and land a shark.

Once underway, enjoy a scenic ride of about 45 minutes as we travel to the fishing grounds. When lines are in the water, you’ll target sharks along with a variety of nearshore species including black sea bass, tomtates, grunts, and porgies. The crew will assist with baiting rigs, monitoring rods, and helping you fight and land fish throughout the trip.

When a shark is hooked, expect a strong fight right from the deck. Between shark encounters, there is action with a mix of bottom fish, keeping rods active and the experience engaging for all skill levels.

After fishing, relax on the ride back to Murrells Inlet. Upon return to dock, the crew will clean and fillet fish for tips.
