What to expect

Join a private sushi-making experience and learn the art of traditional Japanese sushi from an English-speaking sushi chef.

During the lesson, you will make several types of sushi, including nigiri sushi, sushi rolls (maki), and temaki hand rolls. You will learn how to prepare sushi rice, shape nigiri by hand, roll sushi properly, and create beautiful presentations.

The chef will guide you step by step while sharing the history of sushi, the role of seasonal ingredients, and the basics of Japanese food culture. Along the way, you will discover the differences between various types of sushi and gain a deeper understanding of what makes Japanese sushi unique.
