Learn to make two types of ramen with handmade noodles, crispy handmade gyoza, traditional wagashi, and your own bowl of matcha. Guided by Keiko, who has over 20 years of teaching experience, you’ll learn traditional cooking techniques, Japanese food culture, and the secrets of her homemade miso, aged for about 10 months. This private, hands-on cooking class includes personalized instruction, printed recipes, and photos and videos to help you recreate the experience long after your trip to Japan.
Two Types of Ramen (Shoyu and Miso)
Make handmade ramen noodles, then prepare Shoyu ramen with homemade chashu and Miso ramen made with my homemade miso.
Handmade Gyoza
Make handmade gyoza from scratch, including the wrappers, and learn how to make crispy pan-fried gyoza.
Traditional Japanese Sweets (Wagashi)
Make Fruit Daifuku, a popular Japanese sweet, and learn about Japanese food culture.
Matcha Experience
Watch a casual matcha demonstration, then prepare and enjoy your own bowl of matcha.
