A NYC structural engineer, explains the structural engineering challenges, architectural innovations, and even legal disputes that shaped New York's skyline.
The walking tour extends from the Flatiron District to Southern Midtown, and we discuss the history of high-rises from 1880 to today.

Meet on the sidewalk at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 20th Street, the northeast corner of the intersection.
The end point is the sidewalk at the base of the Empire State Building at the corner of 34th Street and 5th Avenue.
