  Tokyo Tower

  Standing 333 meters tall and glowing a warm orange against the night sky, Tokyo Tower is Tokyo's most iconic landmark. Here you step out right at its base and look straight up — the sheer scale and the glittering golden lattice towering overhead is something no photo online can prepare you for. Lit up after dark, it's far more magical than by day, and one of the city's most beautiful spots for a group photo. Please note: this is a photo stop to admire the tower from below. The tour does not include going up to the observation deck.

• Rainbow Bridge (Pass by)

  As your drive continues, you cross the Rainbow Bridge — the graceful suspension bridge that arches over Tokyo Bay. By night it glows against the dark water, with the city skyline on one side and the illuminated bayside towers of Odaiba on the other. Gliding across it by car is a highlight in itself: the lights of the bay stream past your windows and the whole of Tokyo's waterfront opens up before you, like driving straight into a postcard. Please note: you enjoy the bridge from the comfort of the vehicle as you cross — there is no stop on the bridge itself.

  Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

  Next, you arrive in Odaiba, Tokyo's futuristic bayside district — and one of the best night-view spots in the city. Step out beside the replica Statue of Liberty, with the illuminated Rainbow Bridge and the distant glow of Tokyo Tower framing the bay behind her. It's one of Tokyo's most photogenic scenes, especially after dark. Nearby, a giant Ferris wheel lights up the skyline and a life-size robot statue stands guard over the waterfront — a neon-soaked world that feels nothing like the Tokyo you saw by day. There's free time here to take photos and soak in the bayside atmosphere.

  For the grand finale, the drive itself becomes the attraction. You cruise the Shuto Expressway — Tokyo's elevated urban highway — and dive into the Yamate Tunnel, one of the longest road tunnels in Japan. Streams of red tail lights, glowing signs rushing past, and the rhythmic lights of the tunnel wall turn the ride into a scene straight out of a movie. Then you burst out the other side, and the glittering Tokyo night view opens up all at once. Sink into your seat, watch the city lights flow by, and feel the thrill of the road — the perfect way to end your night.
