Travelling all over Morocco: Enjoy and make the most of a 4-day trip from Marrakech to the Desert and from the Desert to Fes. On this trip you will discover magnificent places and unique landscapes including the High Atlas, Kasbahs Ait Ben Haddou, Valley of Roses, Dades Gorges, Todra Gorges, the Sahara Desert of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, Ziz Valley, the Anti-Atlas and Fes.
We pick up all travelers from Marrakech and optionally also from Casablanca.
You’ll depart early in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n'Tichka pass. You'll stop at the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, Aït Benhaddou (a backdrop for many famous films), before continuing through the "Hollywood of Morocco" (Ouarzazate) and the picturesque Valley of Roses to spend the night in a Hotel / Riad or Guesthouse in the Dades Valley.
You'll travel through the stunning Todra Gorge and its massive 300-meter-high canyon walls. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, you'll swap your vehicle for a camel and ride across the dunes to your desert camp in time for the sunset. You'll spend the night in a traditional Berber tent, complete with dinner and music around a campfire.
Merzouga is a great way to discover and enjoy a variety of activities. In the morning, wake up, shower, have breakfast, and then another adventure begins with a 5-6 hour 4x4 excursion to explore the surrounding area, crossing the deserts to visit fossils, nomads, kohl mines, a Gnawa music village, Lake Serij, and a nomad cooperative. Afterward, return to the hotel for lunch and relax by the pool until it's time for an adrenaline rush with an hour of quad biking to enjoy the sunset in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Return to the traditional hotel/guesthouse for dinner and breakfast.
Wake up in the morning, shower and have breakfast, and we're off to Fes. On the way we'll visit the panoramic Ziz Valley, and then continue along the route with its beautiful landscapes and Berber villages to reach the Azrou forest where we'll encounter wild monkeys. From there to Ifrane, the little Moroccan Switzerland, and then on to Fes.
