Plaza de Isabel II: We will finish our tour in the historic Plaza de Isabel II, right next to the magnificent Royal Theatre (Teatro Real).
Puerta del Sol: We begin at the city’s vibrant heart to see the famous statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree and the "Kilometre Zero" marker.
Plaza de Callao: We will stop in this cinematic square, known as Madrid’s "Times Square," to admire its iconic Art Deco buildings and giant digital screens. Gran Vía: You will stroll along the city’s most famous avenue, a bustling boulevard filled with historic theaters, stunning architecture, and non-stop energy.
Plaza de España: We will visit this newly renovated landmark to see the impressive monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes and the famous statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.
Royal Palace (Palacio Real): We will stop to marvel at the breathtaking exterior of the largest functioning palace in Europe and hear stories of the Spanish Monarchy. (Visit only from outside)
Almudena Cathedral: You’ll see the striking contrast between the cathedral’s neo-Gothic interior and its classical facade that faces the palace.
Plaza de la Villa: You’ll explore one of Madrid's oldest and best-preserved squares, home to beautiful buildings dating back to the Middle Ages.
Mercado de San Miguel: We will visit this historic iron-structure market to soak up its vibrant atmosphere and browse an incredible selection of gourmet Spanish delicacies.
Sobrino de Botín: We’ll pass by the oldest restaurant in the world according to the Guinness World Records, famous for its roasted suckling pig and for being a favorite spot of Ernest Hemingway.
Plaza Mayor: We will step into this grand, arcaded square to admire its stunning frescoes and learn about its history of royal pageantry and ancient markets.
Chocolatería San Ginés: We’ll stop at Madrid’s most legendary café to see where the city's finest churros and chocolate have been served since 1894.
Librería San Ginés: We’ll stop at this charming 17th-century outdoor bookstore, a hidden gem nestled in an alleyway that looks like a scene frozen in time.
Calle Arenal: We will walk down this lively pedestrian street, one of the most historic and busiest thoroughfares connecting Puerta del Sol to the Opera house. Teatro Real (Opera): We will visit the grand square in front of the Royal Theatre, Madrid’s premier opera house, surrounded by beautiful gardens and statues of Spanish kings.
