What to expect

Marine Dynamics offers a world-class shark cage diving experience in Gansbaai, South Africa — a destination historically famous for great white shark cage diving. While great white sightings are now rare, guests predominantly encounter bronze whaler sharks and sevengill sharks aboard our custom-designed vessel, Slashfin, with a qualified marine biologist onboard.

We are Fair Trade Tourism certified and work closely with the Dyer Island Conservation Trust on shark research, including identification, tagging, and long-term monitoring. Our operations focus on ethical encounters, education, and conservation.

Guests may also spot whales, dolphins, seals, African penguins, and seabirds, offering a broader Marine Big 5 experience.

Located approximately three hours from Cape Town, the trip includes an educational briefing, meals, onboard refreshments, and all required dive equipment.

Enjoy an unforgettable experience with our award-winning crew and leave with a deeper appreciation for these remarkable animals.
