  If conditions allow, we’ll make a stop at Eagle Falls, one of the most beautiful roadside waterfalls along the Skykomish River. Watch the glacier-fed river rush through a dramatic granite gorge, admire the emerald pools, and capture stunning photos of this scenic Cascade landmark. Due to limited parking, traffic, and safety considerations, this stop may be adjusted or omitted at your driver-guide’s discretion.

  Deception Falls

  Take a short walk through an old-growth forest to one of the Cascade Mountains’ most picturesque waterfalls. Deception Falls is fed by the glacier-fed Deception Creek, which rushes through a narrow granite canyon before joining the Skykomish River. Cross the scenic pedestrian bridge for breathtaking views and excellent photo opportunities while your guide shares stories about the region’s geology, early explorers, and the engineering of the historic Stevens Pass Highway. This peaceful stop offers a perfect introduction to Washington’s rugged mountain wilderness.

  Travel across Stevens Pass, one of Washington’s most scenic mountain crossings in the heart of the Cascade Range. At an elevation of over 4,000 feet, this historic pass has connected western and eastern Washington for more than a century. During winter, Stevens Pass is one of the state’s premier ski destinations. In the warmer months, it transforms into a popular mountain biking park, where riders of all skill levels enjoy lift-served downhill trails through spectacular alpine scenery.
