Tokyo Kimono Experience
We offer traditional Japanese hairstyling, makeup, kimono dressing, commemorative photography, and location photo shoots.
We are now hosting a special hands-on Tokyo Yuzen color-painting experience, one of the most popular Tokyo Yuzen style activities.
Under the supervision of a Tokyo hand-painted Yuzen artist and workshop, participants will add colors to a pre-drawn traditional design and create a one-of-a-kind original tote bag — the only one in the world.
The experience is held every Tuesday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Each session is a 2-hour course with a maximum of 6 participants.
We warmly welcome everyone — from solo guests to friends, families, and groups.

Meeting and pickup
Exit from Omotesando Station B1 Exit. Walk straight toward Max Mara. Continue along Aoyama-dori Avenue. Near Aoyama Gakuin University, you will find the Shiota Building. We are located on the 4th floor inside Bride and Groom. About a 2-minute walk from Omotesando Station.
What to expect

Tokyo Yuzen Color-Painting Workshop
In this hands-on experience, you will add colors to an original Tokyo Hand-Painted Yuzen design and create your own one-of-a-kind tote bag
Through the process of coloring the tote bag, you can casually enjoy and experience the beauty of Japanese traditional craftsmanship.
Beginners, children, and international guests are all very welcome.
The Tokyo Yuzen Color-Painting Workshop is an interactive cultural experience where participants color original drawings created by Tokyo Hand-Painted Yuzen artisans and make their own unique artwork.
Under the supervision of Tokyo Hand-Painted Yuzen artists and studios, we have decided to hold this workshop regularly starting in June as part of your mission to bring Japanese kimono culture and traditional crafts closer to people
We would love for you to join us!Upon entering the building, please proceed to the 4th floor. After opening the door, you will find the reception desk, where you can present your QR code or Ticket to the staff.
