Airport Pickups: Our driver will meet you at the arrivals hall immediately after you collect your luggage and clear customs.
Hotel Pickups: Please wait in your hotel lobby or at the main entrance 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Your guide will ask for your name and confirm your booking before departure.
Other Meeting Points: Your guide will be waiting at the exact location you selected, holding a personalized name sign and wearing Mtaita Adventures identification.

    Your adventure begins with a drive from Moshi to Marangu Gate, where you'll complete registration and meet your experienced mountain crew. After a briefing, start your trek through the lush rainforest, home to towering trees, colorful birds, and playful black-and-white colobus monkeys. The trail is gentle and well-maintained, making for an enjoyable introduction to Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at Mandara Hut, settle into your comfortable mountain hut and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner before resting for the night.

    oday's trek crosses the alpine desert known as the Saddle, a dramatic landscape stretching between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. Vegetation becomes scarce as you gain altitude and the terrain grows more rugged. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, you'll have an early dinner and rest for a few hours before beginning your midnight summit attempt. Your guides will provide a full briefing and ensure you're prepared for the challenging climb ahead.

    Day 4: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) – Descend to Horombo Hut

    Around midnight, begin your summit push under a sky filled with stars. The ascent is challenging but incredibly rewarding as you climb past Hans Meyer Cave, Gilman's Point, Stella Point, and finally reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your incredible achievement while watching the sunrise over the glaciers and surrounding plains. After taking photos at the summit, descend back to Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing down to Horombo Hut for your final night on the mountain.
