We're not a big agency, we're travelers who fell in love with Mongolia and never left. Every tour is run by the small local team who know these landscapes personally, not from a brochure. You'll travel privately, meaning flexibility is built in. If you want to linger at a viewpoint or share an extra cup of suutei tsai (salty milk tea) with a nomadic family, we make that happen. The Gobi is extraordinary no matter who takes you there, but the difference is in the details, and we sweat every one of them. We The Travel Junkies.
We'll arrange your airport pickup from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (ULN). Our driver will meet you in the Arrivals hall with a nameplate. If you arrive earlier or later than expected, contact us immediately at [phone/WhatsApp] so we can adjust timing. Allow approximately [X] hours from landing to meeting point.
Depart Ulaanbaatar and drive south into the Middle Gobi. Arrive at the White Stupa (Tsagaan Suvarga), an impressive limestone escarpment that looks like a ruined city from afar. Spend the evening exploring the colorful cliffs and overnight at a nearby ger camp
Continue south through the provincial center of Dalanzadgad to enter the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. Trek through Yol Valley (Yolyn Am), a dramatic gorge that shelters thick ice deep into the summer. Overnight in a ger camp near the valley.
Journey westward to the massive Khongor Sand Dunes, also known as the Singing Dunes. Arrive in the afternoon to climb the towering dunes for a spectacular sunset view. Overnight at a ger camp near the dunes.
Spend the morning riding two-humped Bactrian camels with a local nomadic family. Afterward, drive to the Flaming Cliffs (Bayanzag), famous for the discovery of dinosaur eggs. Explore the red sandstone formations and overnight in a nearby camp.
Begin the journey back north, leaving the deep Gobi and entering the Middle Gobi steppe. Arrive at Baga Gazriin Chuluu, an area of stunning granite rock formations. Explore the rocks and hidden temple ruins before overnighting at a ger camp.
After a final morning in the steppe, complete the drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner in the city, concluding your 6-day Gobi adventure.
