Cape Peninsula Full-Day Tour

Your Cape Peninsula adventure begins with a convenient morning pickup from your hotel, guesthouse, Airbnb or accommodation in Cape Town. From there, we set off on a spectacular full-day journey along the Cape Peninsula, exploring dramatic coastlines, beautiful beaches, mountain scenery, historic seaside towns and some of the most famous natural landmarks around Cape Town.

Camps Bay Beach
Our first scenic stop is Camps Bay, one of Cape Town’s most beautiful beaches. Take in the views of the Atlantic Ocean, white sandy beach and the Twelve Apostles mountain range, and capture some memorable photographs.

Clifton & the Atlantic Seaboard
Continue along Cape Town’s famous Atlantic Seaboard, passing the beautiful Clifton beaches and enjoying the combination of ocean and mountain scenery as we make our way towards the Peninsula.

Hout Bay
We continue to the charming coastal village of Hout Bay, surrounded by mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the harbour atmosphere, spectacular coastal views and the opportunity to experience one of Cape Town’s well-known seaside communities.

Chapman’s Peak Drive
From Hout Bay, we follow the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive, where the road winds dramatically between the mountains and the ocean. There are beautiful viewpoints along the route where you can stop, take photographs and enjoy the scenery.

Noordhoek
We continue through the scenic Noordhoek area, known for its wide-open landscapes, mountains and beautiful coastline. This part of the journey offers a wonderful contrast between the rugged mountains and the open Atlantic landscape.

Cape of Good Hope
Our journey continues into the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park. Here you will experience some of the Peninsula’s most spectacular natural scenery, with rugged coastline, dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views.

Cape Point
Next, discover the iconic Cape Point area, where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean landscapes meet in one of the most dramatic settings at the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula. Enjoy time to explore the area, visit the famous lighthouse viewpoint and take photographs surrounded by breathtaking coastal scenery.

Boulders Beach – African Penguins
We then travel to Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town, home to the famous African penguin colony. Walk along the viewing boardwalks and watch these fascinating penguins in their natural coastal environment.

Simon’s Town
After visiting the penguins, explore the historic naval town of Simon’s Town, with its charming streets, coastal setting and maritime character.

Scenic Coastal Return
As we make our way back towards Cape Town, continue enjoying the beautiful Peninsula coastline and scenic landscapes. Depending on the day’s route and available time, we may pass through additional coastal areas such as Kalk Bay and Muizenberg.
